Equity Trust Company Short Message Services (SMS) Terms & Conditions
Program Description
Equity Trust and its affiliates (collectively, “Equity Trust”) and its service providers may use an automatic telephone dialing system (“Automated Technology”) to send you text messages about Equity Trust’s services and account transactions using a short code (collectively “Programs”). You will need to opt-in to specific Programs in which you have an interest. Your opt-in consent will only be used for the specific Program for which you requested texting and will not be shared or interpreted to cover other text messaging Programs. Consent/opting-in to receive text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any services, products, or transactions.
These terms do not apply to routine servicing messages you might receive about your account. Nothing in these messages shall be regarded as an offer, solicitation, recommendation, or advice regarding any product or service or strategy (whether financial, legal, tax or other). Equity Trust does not provide tax, legal or financial advice. You should consult your own tax, legal and financial advisors.
Active SMS Short Codes
Equity Trust Company – 41482 (transactional)
Opt in to receive messages from Equity Trust Company regarding account activity and critical alerts (ie. security, deadlines)
Opt-in: When you opt-in to the short code program by texting “ALERTS” to 41482, you are agreeing to receive reoccurring transactional text messages that may be sent using Automated Technology, by or on behalf of Equity Trust Company, at the cell phone number you provide us. Message frequency varies, depending on the transaction. Message and data rates may apply. Text “HELP” to 41482 for help. Text “STOP” to 41482 to cancel. Mobile numbers will not be shared outside of the Programs that users have opted into.
You can cancel this service at any time. Text “STOP” to 41482. After you send the message “STOP” to us, we will send you a reply message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive messages from us for the Program, unless requested again. If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text “HELP” to 41482. After you send the message “HELP” to us, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service as well as how to unsubscribe.
Equity Trust Company – 39428 (marketing)
Opt-in to receive important messages from Equity Trust Company regarding information about our products and services.
Opt-in: When you opt-in to the short code program by texting “CONFIRM” to 39428 or visiting https://trustetc.com/lp/sdira-var2/, entering your information, and clicking “Start a Conversation”, you are agreeing to receive reoccurring marketing text messages that may be sent using Automated Technology, by or on behalf of Equity Trust Company, at the cell phone number you provide us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text “HELP” to 39428 for help. Text “STOP” to 39428 to cancel. Mobile numbers will not be shared outside of the Programs that users have opted into.

Cost
Message and data rates may apply to each text message sent or received in connection with text messages Programs from Equity Trust as provided in your mobile telephone service rate plan, in addition to any applicable roaming charges. Please contact your mobile telephone carrier for pricing plan information.
Participating Carriers
AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile and Cricket. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy Policy
Data obtained from you in connection with the Programs may include your cell phone number, your carrier’s name, and the date, time and content of your messages, as well as other information that you provide. We may use this information to contact you and to provide the services you request from us. Important Terms
If at any time, you intend to stop using the mobile telephone number that you have used to opt-in for any Program, you agree that you will complete the Opt Out process set forth above prior to ending your use of the mobile telephone number. You understand and agree that your agreement to do so is a material part of these terms. You further agree that, if you discontinue the use of your mobile telephone number without opting out, you will be responsible for all costs (including attorneys’ fees) and liabilities incurred by us, or any party that assists in the delivery of the mobile messages, as a result of claims brought by individual(s) who are later assigned that mobile telephone number.
Children under the age of 18 may not participate in any Program and parents or legal guardians may not agree to these Terms on their behalf.
By subscribing or otherwise using the service, you acknowledge and agree that we will have the right to change and/or terminate the service at any time, with or without cause and/or advance notice.
